👻Haunted Antique Museum👻

👻Saturday 5th October 2024👻

Why not join Dark Shadows Paranormal as we investigate this haunted museum for our first time!

Reported Activity

Staff and guests have reported hearing footsteps walking through the rooms in all areas of the building. Full body apparitions and shadow figures have also been seen in all areas wandering aimlessly through the walls. A wooden rocking chair rocks on its own with no one sitting in it. A military hospital wheelchair, said to have transported hundreds of injured servicemen during war, still holds the souls of the past. A Victorian dolls pram that takes the doll for a walk alone. Will the smirking clown give you a cheeky smile as you walk by or perhaps the voodoo dolls eyes will stare creepily from his glass dome as you pass him by leaving you with the feeling you are being followed. Maybe the picture of the cute Victorian girl will catch your eye until you realise the little girl is not of the living. What will you encounter within these eerie walls.

History

Set inside one of the oldest building in Hinckley the haunted antique paranormal research centre was founded by Neil Packer, the Museum started its journey in Feb 2018. With an interest in the paranormal from a young age and over the years studying and working within the paranormal industry he was intrigued by items having a spirit attachment. Was it possible? He began building his collection of many so said haunted aniques. He then realised he needed somewhere to put his artifacts and enable him to carry out his experiments so went to find a suitable location. He chose 11A Regent Street, Hinckley, Leicester and from here is where it all fell into place. He joined up with other paranormal researchers and opened the museum. Every item in the building has an attachment. Some may have been a sentimental attachment, something they loved so much they couldn’t let it go others a once loved toy or painting or an item with a gruesome past. His eclectic collection is all here and unlike other museums, they are all on show for you to touch or sit in. Some of the antiques in 'The Witches Room’ hold attachments so full of evil it promises to leave you terrified and send shivers down your spine. Hinckley itself has many stories to tell being occupied by Royalists during the civil war in 1644, the Plague in 1671 killing 143 people, the most gruesome being the murder of Richard Smith in Regent Street in 1727. He was stabbed to death with a Habbard and his gravestone is said to bleed yearly on the anniversary of his death. Maybe he will pay us a visit. Are you brave enough to join us and walk the rooms of this foreboding haunted antique museum.
